Built around the contact surface
An aluminum shell packages the PTC heat source into a contact-heating component. The original LC range includes formats for hair straighteners, curling irons, wax warmers, glue guns and vessel-heating applications. Mechanical contact and heat transfer matter as much as the electrical rating: the same heater can deliver different stabilized power in different assemblies.
