PTC Heating Element with Aluminum Shell

Use and Characteristics

External pressure aluminum shell type PTC heater, characterized by simple structure, easy to install, automatic thermostat, no need for temperature control, safety, long life. The PTC for heating liquid will not be damaged when there is no liquid. The use of PTC heating has a great advantage when the terminal temperature of the product is lower than 290℃. Main applications: hair straightener, curling iron, wax milter, steam generator, water boiler, water heater, thermos cup, hot milk dispenser, coffee heater, over glue, hot melt glue gun, chocolate extruder.

Precautions

1. The heating power goes from big to small after being energized and finally stabilizes. Stabilized power is related to the use of conditions, the same PTC heater, the use of different conditions, the power may be several times the difference. The faster the heat dissipation, the greater the stabilized power; the higher the surface temperature of the PTC, the higher the power. 2.
2. Changes in the operating voltage on the surface temperature of the impact are relatively small. When the working voltage increases by 2 times (or decreases by 1/2), the surface temperature increases (or decreases) by about 8℃.
3. Our PTCs are highly reliable and have a long lifespan, but if they are not properly assembled, the final product will have unstable power and temperature.
4. When multiple PTCs are used together, they should be connected in parallel, not in series.

Notes:

1. The temperature can be selected between 70℃-290℃ according to the customer's requirement. Use voltage can be selected from 12V/24V/110V/240V, DC or AC.
2. Temperature tolerance is generally ±5℃.
3. Test conditions for boiled water power: the product is tested in direct contact with water at a water temperature of 25℃.
4. External dimensions can also be manufactured according to customer requirements.
